When something thing is much awaited for, much rumored & much exaggerated, it either rocks or becomes a shock when it eventuates actually. But the latest addition to the Galaxy line-up Samsung Galaxy SIII accorded much more with the way it was speculated about as in larger display, better graphics, a faster 1.4Gz Quad Core CPU, slimmer designed, some ultra exclusive features being debuted on this device and way much more. With all plastic body & Not-So-Cool design towards the negative side this smartphone has phenomenal inner aesthetics coming your way, keep reading.

Although its not released yet but even after its official announcement on 4th May, it has gathered much
of the limelight. Talks are in the air about its release on 29th May but still one can pre-order Sammy's Galaxy SIII and the eyebrow-raising number of Pre-Orders so far are enough to take your breath away.

Now take a deep breath before you proceed further, the guys at Sammy received an epic 9 Million pre-orders for the Samsung Galaxy SIII from 100 carriers around the globe. Thats more than double of actual shipments in 2 months of its predeccesor Samsung Galaxy SII which were 4 million in two months from the release date and 20 million in 10 months. But hey its just announced yet not physically released & its already touching 10 million,  so you can imagine how much heights this figure will gain for the actual units shipped/sold after it will be released, fingers crossed.

         Before jumping to the specifications lets get enlightened with the amazing tech-bits that not only distinguish this smartphone from the others but are also surfacing for the first time on Galaxy SIII ;

Smart Stay
If you feel uncool with the dimming-out of your phones' screen while you view or read something, Samsung have sorted this heck for you in the form of Smart Stay. They have fitted an eye-sensor in the device so that as long as you keep your eyes on the screen it will keep eyes on you & will not fade out, maintaining the intensity of backlight. And Galaxy SIII is debuting this very feature in the smartphone run wich will keep your phone awake along with you.

Direct Call
Wanna call someone without pressing call key? Just open the contact of that person and lift your SIII up to your ear, the rest will be done by the phone itself. You can also Direct Call to the person of whom you are reading a text message.... yeah simply by picking your phone upto your ear. Realy cool, innit?

Smart Alert
If you put your phone down away from you and meanwhile you miss any messages or calls, your phone will vibrate when you pick it up Smart Alerting you of the missed events.

S Voice
Racing on the same track with iphone's SIRI, Samsung cooked up S Voice for their smartphone their latest addition Galaxy SIII. As obvious from its name its a voice command thingy but its been put in a more sophisticated way to take pictures, search internet, set alarms, make/accept/reject calls etc. Just order your phone & it will execute it.

Buddy Photo Share
If you have saved your contacts by attaching pictures to them, your phone will automatically tag your pictures in the phone to the people in  your conatcts and while you view their pictures those tags will also get displayed on pics via Buddy Photo Share.

Social Tag
Based on buddy photo share feature, Social Tag recognises the people when you have a look at their photos in the gallery and lets you Call, Text, Email and even check their status on Facebook or Twitter etc. Lets go social with Galaxy SIII.

Pop up Play
Pop Up Play enables you to play video in a separate pop up window, while you do other stuff on your phone such as emailing or texting someone or surfing the internet.

S Beam
Lastly we have in hands S Beam, which is an NFC (Near Field Communication) based feature via which you can share almost everything simply by touching two devices end to end, you dont need to dig through connectivity menu to connect both devices, just touch n share .

The World's Toughest Mobile Phone

"Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger", while writing this song back in 2007 Kanye West  wouldn't have even thought that these lyrics will someday become the description of a record breaking mobile phone, Sonim XP3300 Force. It is made by Sonim Technologies, ever since 1999 Sonim Technologies has conquered the mobile world by cooking up world's toughest warter-submersible mobile phones.

Tastefully recepied XP3300 Force is a recepient of Guiness World Record,
since this rock solid phone can withstand a fall of 25 meters (82 feet) on a concrete floor,Watch Vedio. Its body is constructed with hardened rubber and fiber glass while the display screen is protected by 1.5 mm thick Corning® Gorilla® glass lens to make it scratch & shock resistant.

This made to last mobile phone can even outlive the extreme temperatures ranging from as cold as -20 °C to +55 °C hot, which means you can bake it in the oven as well. Although made for operating above the earth's surface it can also survive underwater to a depth of 2 meters but remember it can hold its breath only for 1 hour in water. So should we start calling it world's first amphibian phone as well? :-P

Not only it can resist water but its also resistant to 500+ oils & chemicals. The resistance capabilities dont die up here, Sonim XP3300 Force  has been proved to resist pressure of mighty 1 ton, whooops!

Its monsterous battery enables you to consume 94% of your whole day in continuous talking for 22 hours 30 mins non-stop, whereas its standby time is 33 days(800 hours) making it the longest talk-time & standby time for mobile phones so far.

Other eyebrow-raising specs include 2MP Camera, Built in GPS, 64 MB internal memory(expandable upto 16 GB), a water-proof USB port and a 3 year unconditional warranty.

This most rugged phone comes with a quad band GSM connectivity but Sonim has developed a 3G  UMTS enabled phone with dazzeling specs sheet. So work up your minds to witness another record breaking mobile phone which is yet to be announced by Sonim Technologies, its Sonim XP Force 3G . Fingers crossed!

Hackers Seem To Be Ruling The Cyber-World?

Since the very day of its emergence, the breathing planet carries with itself a mountainous history of crimes & ill-doings within humongous forms.
Along with its way too positive & ultra advantageous services to the human race, the transformation of the Earth to ‘The Global Village’ also produced some notorious villagers who exploited the digitalization of earth in a
detrimental fashion, opening new doors for cyber-crimes, and the world labelled them as ‘Hackers’.

Hacking, which was initially tooled illegally for financial motives,
has nowadays emerged as a tactic for pocketing socio-political gains & a means of protest. Whichever organization or company hackers found popping its head out against the favours of citizenry they give them hell by usurping their servers, robbing their databases & making it public over the internet.
Besides the hackers from various other countries around the cyber-world, hackers from Pakistan & India have bagged ginormous prominence as there exists a fierce competition in both countries.
Hacking is in the air these days, in the past few months hardly a day had passed when a major website was not smacked down by the hackers.
LulzSec logo
Not counting hundreds of others working silently, Lulz Security a.k.a LulzSec & Anonymous are two hacker groups which have become a somebody for the cyber-crime agencies & in the headlines lately. Particularly, publicing of  their telephone hotline for hacking i.e.614-LulzSec or 614-5859732 speaks itself of the hardihood of lulzSec.

Some of the catastrophic defacements of high-profile websites are worth bringing to light;

·      NASA lost its data in a hack attack to a hacker who calls himself Tinkode.
·      Sony Music Japan got hacked by LulzSec.
·      Lockheed Martin, an American global aerospace, defense & advanced technology company revealed that they have been hit by a hack attack.
·      Honda Canada made public that 283,000 of its records have been stolen from their database after some hackers attacked its servers.
·      Fake story about late Tupac Shakur, a rapper/hip hop artist, acclaiming him to be alive was posted to Public Broadcasting Service’s website by LulzSec.
·      Google uncovered hackers’ attack on Gmail.
·      Defense group L-3 disclosed that it was blown by a cyber attack.
·      Sony Pictures database was embezzled & made public by LulzSec.
·      10,000 Iranian government e-mails were robbed by Anonymous.
·      Sony Pictures Russia database was leaked following a hack attack.
·      CIA's public facing website cia.gov  was accliamed to be hacked temporarily by LulzSec, which was restored later.
·      Nintendo, the gaming giant, was hacked by LilzSec.
·      Sega Pass, another gaming monster, confirmed the stealth of 1.29 million customers’ personal data.
·      Fox news’ Twitter account got hacked and the hacker tweeted ‘Obama’s dead’.
·      Serious Organized Crime Agency,SOCA’s website was hacked by LulzSec. The agency itself is tasked with investigating cyber-crimes.
·      Sony’s Play Station Network was hacked & smacked offline for several weeks by LulzSec,resulting into theft of 77 million customers’ usernames, passwords and addresses which, besides attack on its various other websites, provoked 1.3 million dollar loss to Sony.

The aforementioned hack attacks unveil how much hard-coded security these websites carried against viable cyber attacks. There may be hundreds of grands of websites over the internet, vulnerable of being attacked by hackers.

Don’t they, hackers, seem to threaten the digital world by what we can call as Cyber-Terrorism?

Howsoever we transmit our opinionated arguments touching on Hacking, the exceeding attraction for hackers to hack down the whole world should never be underestimated.

Lady Gaga-Billions on Youtube & millions on Facebook

Lady Gaga 24,the American pop diva, after going wild on the billbord charts has gone viral over the internet. Her fans are growing with the eyebrow-raising amounts. It's been a normality that stars reach out for fame but Lady Gaga seems to be one of those to whom the fame reached out for.

After procuring humongous success from her 'Bad Romance',her latest single 'Born this way' off her second album is at number 1 on the billboard hot 100.

Quantifying the fame would have never been imagined of,but thanks to the Social Networking Service Sites who have made it possible to enumerate this abstract attribute.Lets talk the language of millions & billions.Gaga has recently pocketed ginormous popularity with 1.37 billion views of her vedios on Youtube; more than 40 million fans on Facebook & above 9 million followers on Twitter. Her weekly growth in fans count as; 398,051 fans per week on Facebook, 134,582 fans per week on Twitter & 19,590,066 vedio views per week on Youtube.

Primarily she is a singer but its not only her music which singles her out from thousands of others doing the same but her freakish attitude is earning her this remarkable distinction. She socialises calculatedly & intelligently and keeps updating her image by performing attention-grabbing stunts; like the one she did at the MTV Vedio Music Awards by wearing a dress made out of slabs of Cow's meat (Photo).Weird!

Conclusively, she is the fastest growing star over the internet and the most famous person breathing on the planet currently.

Forward Texts-Digital Superstitions

Superstitions, when we hear of this word our minds flash back to the old school beliefs of: a black cat crossing our way, itching palms, getting bald etcetra as indications of good or bad luck ;existance of monster & dragons :helping fairies & deadly ginies blah di blah blah.
But its fairly amazing to confess that even our modern technological lives are characterised by the similar,if not the same, paranormal influences whose major source n course are our cell phones....

Yes I'm talking about the text messages, not all but the Must-To-Be-Forward ones who themselves compel us to forward them elsewise we will b damned,howsoever...

Before proceeding with and laying their reality bare, lets give an eye to a bunch of such SMSes' extracts...
- ...forward this to so many people, your most important desire will come true in next 24 hours...we love to forward jokes but delete the islamic txts without forwarding them.
- Relating some dream or saying of some Holy Personality they...say forward that to xx number of people if you don't you'll stay unlucky for xx years.
- Some titled as Magic Sms say....this sms can be sent to only xx number of people & not more.Try if you don't believe.
- Othres trying to emotionaly trap the recepients read as....A poor babygirl/boy is suffering from xyz disease...the mobile company is paying Rs. xx to hospital against sending this sms.Contribute by forwarding it.
- ....forward this to xx number of people & you will win free mobile credit worth of Rs. xx forward then check your balance.
-Some which carry unanswerable questions like...whats that which is a grey liquid and on burning turns to a red powder & gains double weight than its liquid state?

Where the heck do they come from?
Who creates them?
Whats their Goddamn pupose?

Well a majority of them, whether mentioned above or not, derive their origin from the Mobile Service Providers themselves. It would be a choking news to the most of you but its the truth. It stands to reason that they create such texts in order to promote their SMS sales.
As the SMS being the cheapest comodity, atleast in Pakistan, cost us even less than just 1 paisa means you can send a hundred of them in 1 Rupee. Thus for sake of urging their customers to send more & more SMSes such texts are created & spread by the telecom companies.
Another category of these, the Must-To-Be-Forward Islamic ones are the products of lacking minds who have probably got some deficiency in: their knowledge regarding Islam, their faiths & their intellects. They would presumably create such texts in hope of earning Sawaab(the eternal reward) & help others increase their Eeman only & only upon the condition that we forward these texts.
While they have no idea that mere forwarding texts without exercising Islam in our lives, has nothing to do with the Eeman, for Islam is a practicing religion its not about merely boasting the Islamic Rules & Beliefs via SMSes.

Bottom Line; Whether its SMS or any stuff that we confront usually with,we should use our brain cells to evalute its rationality, fidelity & actuality.

MySpace Tough Times-Losing Users in Millions!

MySpace, one among the most popular Social Networking Sites, was once the only for the people to interact digitally over the internet but now facing the worst times.Tech analysts said figures revealed that MySpace lost more than 10 million unique users worldwide between January and February 2011.
There were almost 63 million users of MySpace in February 2011, down from more than 73 million in January 2011.Year on year the site has lost almost 50 million
users, which were close to 110 million back in February
2010.
The loss of users comes despite a series of changes to the site to make it more about music. It was the social network site that helped launch
the careers of artists like Arctic Monkeys, Kate Nash and Lily Allen. But so far this year MySpace has already announced plans to cut half its workforce.
Five years ago it was booming and for many was the first place to visit to talk to friends and listen to music. But the arrival of sites like Facebook has changed the face of social networking.
Rupert Murdoch's News Corp bought the
company for £330 million back in 2005.
If they were to sell today, they might get as little as £50 million for it(...well thats awfully pityfull).MySpace boss Mike Jones(...bechara) has been putting a
brave face on the falling numbers. He said the site is no longer a social network and
is instead an "entertainment destination".But with competition from YouTube, streaming
services and increased file-sharing it is facing tough times.
Things do not always remain the way they were,is what I believe and the same is happening to MySpace.Whether its beneficial or lossmaking 'Change' is the only constant creature from God Almighty.
